About the Position As a specialist nursing assistant, you play a key role in developing and ensuring quality in care and support work. Through your specialized expertise, you contribute to strengthening the organization's practices and creating good conditions for safe, secure, and person-centered care and support. We are seeking a specialist nursing assistant for Änggårdsbackens Care and Living Facility, located at Per Dubbsgatan 4, near Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Änggårdsbacken currently has a total of 169 places distributed across three buildings, and this position is located at Änggårdsbacken House A (somatic care focus). The role involves combining daily care work with a special responsibility for mentoring, knowledge transfer, and operational development. You serve as a support to staff and managers on matters concerning nursing care, patient interaction, documentation, and quality assurance, and contribute to the introduction of new employees. Working in close collaboration with care recipients, their relatives, managers, and staff, you work to develop initiatives and practices that promote individuals' health, participation, and independence. Through your commitment, you contribute to a learning organization where competence, quality, and continuous development are in focus. This position is a permanent full-time role. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, evening hours, and every other weekend. About You Qualifications We are looking for someone who is trained as a nursing assistant and can provide the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate of protected occupational title, or alternatively can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant when the new regulations were introduced. Vocational higher education qualification of at least 200 credits within rehabilitation, psychiatry, dementia, palliative care, multi-morbid elderly, or other areas that the employer deems equivalent. The role requires computer skills for documentation and incident management in various IT systems, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have professional experience within care and support. You demonstrate respect and consideration toward everyone, create a positive atmosphere, and place the care recipient's needs at the center. Patient interaction is a central part of your professional role.
