With us, you work closely with our service users and have an important role in the development of our operations. As a specialist nurse, you serve as a dementia advocate and provide support to your colleagues through supervision, knowledge sharing and active work to develop dementia care.
About the Position
As a specialist nurse, you will perform typical home care tasks while using your specialist expertise to strengthen the quality of our operations.
Your responsibilities include:
· Care and service provision in the service user's home.
· Working from a person-centered approach.
· Serving as a dementia advocate in the organization.
· Supervising and supporting colleagues with questions regarding dementia diseases and interactions.
· Contributing to skills development and sharing knowledge within the team.
· Collaborating with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other professionals.
· Documentation in accordance with applicable legislation and organizational procedures.
· Participating in quality and improvement initiatives.
We are Looking for You
We are seeking someone who is trained as a nurse with a protected professional title and has specialist training in dementia care. You have a genuine interest in people with cognitive illness and want to contribute to developing dementia care.
You are confident in your professional role, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You see supervision and collaboration as a natural part of your work and find it easy to build trusting relationships with service users, families and colleagues.
We also value that you have:
· Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
· Good computer skills.
· A valid driver's license (Category B).
