About the position
At our clinic, you meet children and adolescents with orthopedic diagnoses from throughout the country. We provide highly specialized pediatric orthopedic care and receive patients by referral. The organization has a national highly specialized care mission (NHV) where research, innovation, and clinical activities are conducted in close cooperation.
As a specialist nurse, you have a central role in coordinating care around the patient. You work closely with children, adolescents, and their families and contribute to safe, person-centered, and cohesive care based on each individual's needs.
The work is varied and is conducted in close collaboration with physicians and other professionals in pediatric orthopedics. You receive an independent area of responsibility while being part of a committed interdisciplinary team.
Examples of work tasks:
your own nurse clinics
cast clinics
PEVA clinics
clinics for limb lengthening and wound care
telephone counseling via TeleQ and Always Open
administrative tasks such as scheduling
joint clinics with physicians
joint clinics with other professionals, including orthopedic engineers and occupational therapists.

are independent and confident in your professional role and take responsibility for your work
are proactive and contribute to the organization's development and improvement
have good collaboration skills and work well together with colleagues, patients, and family members
are service-oriented and have a professional manner where the patient's needs are in focus.

Qualifications
Requirements:
licensed nurse with specialist training in pediatrics and adolescent care
Meritorious:
experience in pediatric care
experience in orthopedics
experience in cast techniques
experience in clinic work.
