As an ambulance nurse at Falck's ambulance operations, you will encounter an exciting, varied environment where you can use the full breadth of your professional knowledge and skills. As a nurse, you hold medical responsibility in the ambulance and make medical assessments and decisions about care and medical interventions based on patient needs. All of this happens in close teamwork with a colleague, where your collaboration and knowledge exchange are critical to ensuring the best possible patient care. Qualifications: Specialist nurse in acute care with a focus on ambulance care or specialist training with a focus on acute and emergency care, anesthesia care, intensive care, pediatric care, midwifery, or district nursing Hold a Category B driver's license with good driving experience Good physical capacity as heavy patient lifting occurs, and able to swim 200 meters using any swimming stroke Good Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious: Category C1 driver's license Prehospital Emergency Care Management (PS) Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) As a person, you are confident and stable in your professional role with good judgment in acute situations. Indicate in your application which of our stations you are most interested in being based at. Vacancies exist in Motala and Kisa. An alternative is a pool position, which means working at all our stations in Östergötland—Kisa, Åtvidaberg, Ödeshög, Mjölby, Linköping, Motala. We view positively applications from across the region, such as those who are willing to commute from towns like Tranås, Eksjö, or Västervik. The recruitment process includes several steps, including interview, physical test, and driving test.
