Develop with us We are part of the social administration that is now preparing to create the social services of the future. Since January 1, 2024, we have a target group-adapted organization that supports a process-based approach. The administration's core operations are divided into two operational areas: individual and family care, and disability services. The disability services operational area is divided into three areas: Support Functions Prevention and Authority, Housing and Healthcare, and Employment, Support in the Home and Support for Children. The disability services' overall responsibility with both authority exercise and service delivery provides good collaboration benefits, shorter and simpler decision-making processes, and an opportunity to easily "adjust" based on the target group's needs. The Housing and Healthcare area is responsible for operating 23 LSS residences under municipal management and for healthcare services within the social board's area of responsibility. The Support and Health Team has medical responsibility for special housing and daily activities according to LSS, as well as special housing within Social Psychiatry. The team consists of a business manager, nurses, occupational therapists, and a physiotherapist, and we are now seeking a skilled colleague with specialist training in psychiatry and LSS for our team. Your Assignment The assignment involves you taking responsibility for healthcare services at LSS residences, daily activities, and social psychiatry housing. You have great opportunities and at the same time great responsibility to influence your own work toward this varied target group. Work tasks may include assessing health status, taking samples, administering injections, performing wound care, prescribing continence aids, inserting catheters, or managing medications. The tasks also include training and educating care personnel in healthcare issues. As a person, you are responsible, self-directed, and can adapt your work approach to the situation. You have a commitment to working with the target group and you understand the importance of creating and maintaining good relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You actively contribute to quality development within your area and collaborate with both healthcare providers in the region and other collaboration partners. We are currently on a journey toward increased digitalization and therefore see that you need to have digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions. Over the coming years, we will also build up a crisis team for proactive work according to the new Social Services Act. Working hours: Weekdays between 8–17 (40h/week) Here's what we're looking for in you: • You are a licensed nurse and specialist nurse with a focus on psychiatry with several years of professional experience • You have knowledge and experience of the LSS target group and training in NPF (psychosis, EPIS, comorbidity, and suicide/self-harm behavior) • You have experience working with cognitive aids • You enjoy working in a team and are positive toward change and development work • You have very good communication skills, both in meetings with people and in writing • You are proactive, flexible, and see opportunities ahead of obstacles • You have an empathetic and unbiased perspective • You hold a B driver's license and feel comfortable driving a car on business It is meritorious if you have: • Experience working with people with functional variations and/or psychiatric diagnosis in outpatient care • Experience with people with psychiatric issues and comorbidity in inpatient care • Knowledge of aging in relation to diagnoses within LSS and comorbidity • Experience working with aids or support regarding diet and activities We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
