Child and Adolescent Care at Helsingborg Hospital consists of the Child and Adolescent Medicine Emergency Clinic, Inpatient Ward for Children and Adolescents, Neonatal Ward, Day Care Unit, and scheduled Child and Adolescent Medicine clinics in Helsingborg, Ängelholm, and Landskrona. In total, we are approximately 300 employees across various professional categories.
The Child and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in Helsingborg is an outpatient clinic for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. We welcome patients within many different care processes such as diabetes, asthma, allergies, neurology, and obesity. Most of our patients have chronic diseases, but visits can also involve assessment of patients referred from other healthcare providers. Our team includes physicians, pediatric nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, counselors, psychologists, and administrative staff. We are open during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Would you like to work with children and adolescents in a varied and developing role? We now welcome you as a pediatric nurse to the Child and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in Helsingborg, where you will become an important part of our engaged team.
With us, you will, among other things:
• Work in an interprofessional manner together with engaged colleagues from various professional categories.
• Manage your own scheduled clinic, where you plan your appointments and have great opportunity to influence your work.
• Work family-centered, with the child and family in focus.
• Provide telephone advice and handle patient matters via 1177 as part of daily work.
• Contribute to the development of digital care by working with and promoting digital patient visits.
• Meet patients throughout the care pathway, where specimen collection for the clinic's patients is also part of the operation.
The role requires high demands on independence and responsibility. Working days are varied and can change quickly based on the clinic's and patients' needs, which requires a flexible approach and good ability to adapt to new situations.
At our workplace, we work goal-oriented through various improvement initiatives to develop our operations with the patient in focus. As a new employee with us, you will receive an introduction tailored to your competence and previous experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and have further education in child and adolescent care. Additionally, you have Swedish language proficiency at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. You also have experience working in child and adolescent care. We consider it meritorious if you have experience with clinic work in child and adolescent care as well as knowledge of Melior and Pasis systems. If you have interest or experience with diabetes and/or asthma and allergies, this is an advantage.
To thrive in the role, it is important that you are comfortable working both independently and in interprofessional teams. You should be responsible and stress-resilient. Furthermore, you have a flexible approach, good communication skills, and good demeanor toward both patients and colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
