The Adult Psychiatry Malmö Trelleborg operational area is divided into four areas with focus on general psychiatric inpatient care, general psychiatric outpatient care, addiction services, and psychosis. The operational area has approximately 870 employees. The Outpatient Care Area has over 200 employees and operations at various locations in Malmö and Trelleborg. The operations are characterized by diversity and high expertise with several specialist teams for specific diagnoses and treatments. We continuously work to improve our operations, and in recent years there has been a significant improvement in accessibility to assessment and treatment. 2 position(s). DUTIES We now look forward to welcoming new senior physician and specialist physician colleagues at both locations, Malmö and Trelleborg (You choose in the survey which location you are applying for). You work together in a team with professionals such as nurses, psychologists, social workers, and medical secretaries. As a specialist physician, you have overall responsibility for coordinating the patient's care process in the team, for ensuring interventions are offered according to guidelines, and for concluding the patient's care period after improvement is achieved. You assess and treat patients based on our specialist psychiatric mission and mentor medical students, resident physicians, AT-physicians, and ST-physicians. You perform acute assessments that may lead to coercive measures and collaborate when necessary with inpatient care and other actors such as social services, LSS, primary care, and home healthcare. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying are a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have specialist competence in psychiatry. Swedish language proficiency at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. You must have completed or have planned a course in clinical supervision. It is meritorious if you have experience with and interest in methodology development and change management. For employment as a senior physician, you must also have: - full-time service of at least three years (documented effective time). - clinical proficiency and independence within psychiatry. - a defined medical responsibility and knowledge area. - documented teaching and supervision credentials. As a person, you work easily with both colleagues and patients. You are interested in psychiatry and follow developments in the field. When things become challenging around patients, you remain calm but can also adapt quickly when necessary. You contribute with your overview to improving the clinic's care processes. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. At a university healthcare facility, physicians are required to have pedagogical experience and education. You may have acquired this through supervision of, for example, nursing and medical students, physicians in training, and as a co-supervisor or main supervisor of doctoral students.
