JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a specialist physician with us, you work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team with other professions, competencies and knowledge areas to deliver quality and comprehensive care for our patients. Your immediate colleagues consist of radiologists, radiologic technologists, nursing assistants, and administrative staff. On-call and backup on-call coverage is staffed from Hudiksvall between 4 PM-10 PM. After 10 PM, external review is used. We work daytime hours, but there is an opportunity for on-call/standby service during evening hours and weekends if you wish, but with placement in Hudiksvall.
As a specialist physician with us, you will, among other things
• work as a general radiologist with acute and elective examinations
• the modalities you are expected to review are conventional radiography, ultrasound, certain types of fluoroscopy, and CT
• work in Sectra's RIS/PACS.

QUALIFICATIONS

In the role as specialist physician/senior physician you should
• hold Swedish medical licensure and have acquired specialist competence in radiology
• have a broad general radiological profile with competence in conventional radiography, ultrasound and CT
• alternatively have foreign medical training; if the training is from a country outside the EU/EEA, a passing result on the National Board of Health and Welfare's theoretical knowledge test is also required
• be able to communicate fluently in Swedish orally and in writing at a minimum of C1 level.
We view on-call competence and knowledge in MR as positive but not required.
The position is primarily a permanent full-time employment, but we are open to other employment levels and would be happy to discuss possible options.
