Specialist Physician/Associate Chief Physician/Chief Physician at the Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Clinic, Södertälje Hospital

Much of the care is provided in teams with our competent nurses and nursing assistants (asthma/allergy, urotherapy, obesity, gastroenterology, ADHD, and general pediatrics). The clinic also has a urotherapist, psychologists, and dietitians on staff.
We are looking for you—a specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine interested in maintaining and developing broad expertise while being part of a team with great opportunities to develop specialized competence and influence working methods and healthcare delivery.
Duties primarily involve clinic work where you have or develop your specialty focus and handle patient cases with great variety of different medical conditions. The position also includes work and on-call duty at our integrated BB/delivery unit, where approximately 2,000 babies are born annually. BB Södertälje is a low-risk unit with deliveries from week 36 of pregnancy and has operations with employee-driven continuous improvement work that has generated good quality results for our birthing patients and newborns.
The position includes opportunities for some remote work with telephone hours, video consultations, and administration.

Requirements:
- Specialist in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
Meritorious:
- Focus on or interest in pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric allergology, pediatric obesity, or neonatology.
- Experience in ADHD treatment.
Employment Form:
Specialist Physician/Associate Chief Physician/Chief Physician depending on experience and interest in taking responsibility for developing the operations.
Permanent employment, full-time or part-time by agreement. Opportunity for hourly employment is available as an alternative.
