Are you a specialist physician with psychiatric specialization who wants to be part of developing psychiatric care in the area? We are currently seeking a psychiatry specialist physician for our general psychiatry clinic in Landskrona.
Within the Business Area (VO) Adult Psychiatry Helsingborg, we have three adult psychiatry clinics located in Landskrona, Ängelholm, and Helsingborg. The operations are part of the Department of Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Assistive Devices. At the clinics, we primarily assess and treat patients with affective disorders, anxiety conditions, various forms of personality syndromes, and neuropsychiatric conditions.
The clinics are at the forefront of development and work with standardized care pathways and team-based care. You will thus have the opportunity to work with and contribute to psychiatric care characterized by collaboration, openness, and quality. The Landskrona clinic consists of approximately 25 employees from various professional categories, including physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In your role as a specialist physician, your primary task is to diagnose, assess, and treat patients based on current research and established best practices. You will often meet individuals with complex and engaging care needs and a need for in-depth psychiatric assessment where your expertise offers great opportunities to make a difference.
As a physician with us, you will have excellent opportunities to develop both the clinic and the content of care together with the unit manager and other colleagues. We constantly strive to improve and develop our operations, where we welcome your knowledge, ideas, and experience.
Since we accept medical students from undergraduate training, you are expected to contribute supervision to all levels of trainee physicians. As the operations are classified as university healthcare, it means we actively invest in both research and teaching, with several exciting ongoing research projects in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have specialist competence in psychiatry. Swedish language proficiency at a minimum of level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. You must have completed or have planned a course in clinical supervision.

You work within established frameworks and given guidelines with the patient's best interests in focus. Personal suitability and good collaboration skills are highly valued.
At a university healthcare unit, physicians must have pedagogical experience and training. You may have acquired this through supervision of, for example, nursing and medical students, trainee physicians, and as a co-supervisor or main supervisor of doctoral candidates. Clearly describe in your application completed or planned pedagogical courses, experience with supervision and teaching at different levels.
