We are seeking a Gynecologist or Specialist Physician in General Medicine with gynecological experience for Youth Clinics throughout the Stockholm Region! About Us: Our overarching mission is to promote sexual and reproductive health and to prevent and early detect mental health issues and social problems among young people aged 12-23 years. We work in a health-promoting manner from a holistic perspective. At the youth clinic, we work in an interprofessional team consisting of midwives, counselors, and physicians. We primarily work with individual visits, but a large and important part of our work is also conducting outreach activities. We are a low-threshold operation and always strive for high accessibility. Norm awareness and diversity are important to us; all young people and all employees should feel equally welcome with us. The organization currently consists of just over 100 midwives and 10 physicians. In total, we handle more than 100,000 patient visits per year. We have 30 clinics distributed throughout the county from Märsta in the north to Södertälje in the south. Stockholm's youth clinics are operated in collaboration between Stockholm County Healthcare Region (SLSO), which is responsible for operating the medical part of the activities, and the municipality/city district, which operates the psychosocial part of the activities. Currently, there is a youth clinic in each municipality and city district in Stockholm, varying in size based on the number of young people living in the area. You will work independently within your professional role but have the opportunity to network with other physicians in the organization through physical and digital meetings. The position includes providing support and consultations to the midwives at the clinic.
