Read more about Psykiatri Sydväst here: Psykiatri Sydväst The Position We are now seeking a specialist physician, with a possible MLA assignment, who wants to participate in developing outpatient care during a dynamic development phase. Psykiatri Sydväst is currently undergoing a reorganization of outpatient care where seven units as of November 1 will become four. The goal is for the new organization to contribute to better accessibility and reduced internal waiting lists as well as more clearly offer care linked to medical priorities. The specialist physician we are now seeking will primarily be placed at Psychiatric Clinic 2 in the Huddinge hospital area in the new organization. The clinic largely exists today under the name Assessment and Treatment Unit and provides general psychiatric specialist care with assessment and treatment for a broad patient group. The unit offers a multifaceted range of services and a highly competent work team consisting of various professional groups within psychiatry. Apart from this position, there are no physician vacancies at the clinic. With the patient's best interests in focus, the teams work evidence-based with, among other things, psychotherapy, medication treatment, TMS, ECT, and psychosocial support. The unit also has regional responsibility as a PTSD Competence Center with a focus on highly specialized care, research, and education, and is currently also home to both our referral portal and our unit for treatment with physical activity, Braining.
