WHAT Unilabs performs laboratory diagnostics and analyzes samples from both outpatient and inpatient care throughout the Stockholm region, Sörmland, and Västra Götaland, as well as from other parts of the country. We are currently seeking a specialist physician in clinical microbiology. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to high-quality diagnostics, create efficient work processes, and provide outstanding customer service. You will work broadly across different areas and with various methods within clinical microbiology while deepening your expertise in diverse clinical questions. As a specialist physician, you will be part of a regional team where different professions work together, as well as part of a cross-regional physician group consisting of 8 physicians and medical residents. Responsibilities are divided within the physician group based on knowledge, interests, and operations. This way of working ensures you receive comprehensive support from various areas of expertise, even remotely, and you share your knowledge with others – colleagues, coworkers, or customers – in an educational manner. You also have an interest in developing as a specialist physician and are comfortable in the medical consultant role and in customer interactions. You are communicative with excellent collaboration skills both internally and externally. Furthermore, you are receptive and open to new ways of thinking and passionate about working with continuous improvements that contribute positively to patients, our customers, and our own operations.
