The Clinical Immunology and Transfusion Medicine (KIT) department is part of Medical Services and is responsible for accredited laboratory operations in clinical immunology, transfusion medicine, transplantation immunology, and blood donation services in Skåne. KIT is also tasked with providing blood components to the healthcare system in Region Skåne according to current regulations, as well as managing cells for stem cell transplantation and advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMP), a subprocess undergoing rapid development. Operations are primarily based in Lund and employ approximately 200 staff members from various professions who collaborate closely in both daily operations and development projects. We are organized into processes with a medical director, process manager, and unit manager working in close cooperation. The department is strongly connected to research at Lund University and maintains broad academic collaboration with Skåne University Hospital. 3 position(s). DUTIES We welcome three specialist physicians to KIT in Lund. Your work involves medical responsibility for daily operations and quality assurance within one of our processes. In addition, you will work in clinical operations and participate in teaching of the department's resident physicians and other medical and laboratory staff. Research is conducted successfully within the department, and you are expected to actively participate in development and research projects. Working hours are during daytime 08:00-16:30. In addition, on-call duty according to schedule is included. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have specialist competence in clinical immunology and/or transfusion medicine. Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. You must have completed or have planned a course in clinical supervision. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility with a goal-oriented approach to ensure smooth operations. You are able to prioritize between tasks, are communicative, and enjoy taking own initiatives. Additionally, you have good collaboration skills and appreciate the value of cooperation between different professions and processes. We expect you to have a positive view of change management and to actively participate in our improvement projects. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. At a university hospital unit, physicians are required to have pedagogical experience and training. This can be acquired through supervising, for example, nursing and medical students as well as physicians in training, and as a co-supervisor or main supervisor of doctoral candidates. Clearly describe in your application any completed or planned pedagogical courses, experience in supervision and teaching at different levels.
