Ersta Hospital is part of Ersta Diakoni and is Sweden's largest mission-driven hospital with a clear value foundation – to see the whole person. Since 1851, we have provided healthcare on Södermalm in Stockholm, but we welcome patients from across the country. Here we offer high-quality, specialized healthcare with both breadth and specialized expertise. We are a university healthcare unit and conduct research, education, and development in collaboration with the Karolinska Institute. We are growing to help more people, and since 2023, the hospital's capacity has tripled and eight new operations have started.
At the Radiology Clinic, over 30 dedicated staff members work together. We perform approximately 20,000 examinations each year and offer CT, MRI, ultrasound, biopsies, conventional X-ray, fluoroscopy, and bone density measurements. Our patients come from Ersta Hospital, Ersta Health Center, and several external facilities, and we collaborate with university hospitals both within and outside the Stockholm Region.

About the Role
As a specialist physician with us, you work with radiological examinations, image interpretation, rounds, and multidisciplinary conferences. You are also an important part of developing the future of radiology through mentoring of students, resident doctors, and colleagues.
Work is primarily conducted during daytime hours. Our radiologic technologists are on call 24/7 for inpatients, and as a physician, you have on-call duty until 7 p.m. on weekdays. During on-call hours, examinations are handled by external radiologists.

Your Experience
We are looking for you who is a specialist physician in medical radiology with a particular interest in abdominal radiology.
Information on Expert Review
When recruiting specialist physicians/assistant senior physicians/senior physicians to Ersta Hospital, an expert review is conducted where your application will be shared and evaluated by external experts on behalf of the Stockholm Region. For the experts to be able to evaluate your application, you need to attach the following documents (documents marked with * are mandatory):

• *Certificate of specialist competence from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Any documentation for other pedagogical qualifications
