Kiruna Health Center has implemented several new working methods designed to increase accessibility for citizens and has an exciting future ahead. What we are looking for We are now seeking you as a specialist physician in geriatrics, preferably with experience in primary care. We place great value on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are as a person stable and calm in clinically challenging situations and have a good ability to communicate with patients, even in difficult conversations. You communicate clearly, follow up on your work, and ensure that messages are understood and that all involved parties understand what is expected of them. Furthermore, you have a particularly strong understanding of the professional aspects of the work. You continuously update your knowledge and are a knowledge resource for others. You adapt easily to changing circumstances, can shift your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in change. What you will be working with As a specialist physician in geriatrics with us, you work independently with the elderly patient in focus. Your workday is varied. You work with your own clinic as well as work with the elderly through rounds at the municipality's care facilities. We hope that together with us you will want to develop geriatric care. Mentoring of resident physicians is part of the assignment. Working hours are during daytime, Monday - Friday. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
