With us, you are involved in daily work and are an important part of the health center's development. What We're Looking For We are now seeking you as a specialist physician in geriatrics, preferably with experience in primary care. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are a stable and calm person in clinically challenging situations and have a good ability to communicate with patients, even in difficult conversations. You communicate clearly, follow up on your work, and ensure that messages are conveyed and that all parties understand what is expected of them. Furthermore, you have an excellent understanding of the professional aspects of the work. You continuously update your knowledge and are a knowledge resource for others. You adapt easily to changing circumstances, can adjust your perspective and approach, and see opportunities in change. What You Will Work With As a specialist physician in geriatrics with us, you work independently with the elderly patient in focus. Your workday is varied. You maintain your own clinic and work with the elderly through, among other things, rounds at the municipality's nursing homes. We hope you will help us develop geriatric care. Mentoring of medical trainees is part of the assignment. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, Monday - Friday. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
