Job Description
We offer a challenging and varied job as a specialist physician. We have special residential facilities for the elderly and we have several specialist clinics where the opportunity can be given for in-depth responsibility within medical areas. This could be, for example, in diabetes, blood pressure, asthma-COPD, elderly patients, etc. Part of the position may also consist of responsibility for special residential facilities (SÄBO) and home care.
The position includes standard clinic work and consultation with home care and special residential facilities. Part of your work time you will spend supervising less experienced colleagues and supporting other staff according to an established system. This occurs at specially allocated time in the schedule.

As a specialist physician with us, it is included to supervise junior physicians and students, as well as standard on-call work. You will also contribute to developing methods and working practices to handle patient flow in various ways and to ensure our commitments according to regulations. A special focus area for 2026 is accessibility. We have well-developed meeting forums and work continuously with systematic work environment efforts and participate in various overarching development projects.
If you as a physician see an opportunity in viewing digitalization and new technology as an opportunity, we want to create space to adopt new methods and working practices. We strive for innovative primary care and proximity care while also giving the opportunity to meet our patients in alternative ways, for example through video visits and monitoring of certain chronic diseases. About You
We would like you to be a specialist in general medicine and have an understanding of the tasks included in the assignment.
Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other services, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language both spoken and written. You hold Swedish medical licensure (attach to application).
We are looking for someone who is attentive and collaborates well with other people. You are confident and stable in your professional role and communicate in a clear and open manner. Furthermore, you can easily adapt to changed circumstances and have a flexible working and approach style. You can take your own initiatives and can take personal responsibility regarding your work, patients, collaborators, and other operations. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you want to be part of developing the operations with the rest of the team at the health center. We place great importance on personal qualities where collaboration and good treatment of patients and colleagues are important to us.

In the development that Primary Care is undergoing, we see a need for time for development work at the health center as well as your own professional development. The position includes scheduled time for development work which can be used for individual development work or development of operations and not least your own professional development.
