About the Operation We are now seeking a district physician for health center Gagnef. Welcome to join our fantastic team! We have approximately 10,400 registered patients. We employ approximately 50 staff members in various professional categories. We have 8 specialist physicians and 8 resident physicians and maintain a well-established training environment. The health center has a broad scope of services including an Assessment Vehicle, Family Center, Rehabilitation Unit, and Counseling Services. Commuting options are available via public transportation such as train and bus, as Gagnef is located on the Stockholm-Mora route. Job Responsibilities As a district physician with us, you will work with varied and meaningful tasks within primary care. You will receive your own patient roster where you build long-term continuity. Together with your colleagues, you care for patients of all ages according to their needs. There is an opportunity to specialize in various areas of responsibility. Supervising, supporting resident physicians, and other professional groups is an important part of your work tasks. Qualifications We are looking for you who - are a specialist physician in general medicine - have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing (Swedish C) - hold a B-class driver's license You are a competent physician with a structured work approach and the ability to work both independently and in multiprofessional teams. We would appreciate that you as a person are confident, flexible, and contribute to a positive atmosphere. You are unpretentious and collaboration-oriented, share your knowledge, and take responsibility for ensuring that teamwork functions—even when the pace is high. You have good communication with your colleagues and patients. You have an interest in supervising future colleagues and want to contribute to developing the operations.
