Each neighborhood care area is an economic unit led by a unit manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice services, youth services and the neighborhood care unit Näva, which are all grant-financed. Within the primary care area, there is a good research climate and it has status as a university healthcare unit. Our R&D unit can assist with support and scientific supervision together with primarily Umeå University. Lits Health Center is a well-functioning health center and workplace with good routines and collaboration mixed with a large portion of innovative thinking. We collaborate with all our colleagues in various professional categories to provide good care and create good conditions for patients. We currently have just over 3,750 registered patients, approximately 17 employees and two unit managers in joint leadership. Our medical team consists of 3 specialists in general medicine, 2 medical residents, one locum physician and one locum junior doctor. The team also includes district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants and medical secretaries. Additionally, there is a psychosocial unit with a psychologist, social worker and psychotherapist shared with Lugnvik, as well as a rehabilitation coordinator, physiotherapist and occupational therapist. In the same building there is maternal and child health care. We are responsible for two care facilities. Our health center is located approximately 20 kilometers outside the city center, close to the Indalsälven river, with opportunities for nice running routes, bike rides or walks. We have high ceilings, a good atmosphere where we help each other and we want to create a good work environment together. We want to be at the forefront and continuously develop. Warm welcome to us! 1 position(s). WORK TASKS Primary care is undergoing a transition towards accessible care, which includes, among other things, responsibility for fewer patients in favor of expanded responsibility for our most vulnerable elderly. We work based on the concept of expanded primary care; the working method also means increased opportunities for home visits and thus being able to provide reassurance to patients who need it most. Work as a specialist in general medicine involves responsibility for a geographic area with clinic visits, emergency visits, home visits, qualified telephone consultations and in-depth medication reviews. We have medical meetings with joint referral review once a week and beyond that time allocated for development work. Occasional on-call duties are part of the work. We are responsible for four care facilities including short-term beds and a well-functioning collaboration with the municipality's district nurses in home healthcare. Within the scope of your employment, there is an opportunity for side assignments within care facilities, maternal health clinics, child health clinics. Supervision of candidates and training physicians is part of the work. Due to primary care having the status of a university healthcare unit, teaching, supervision and education of medical students at Umeå University are included in the position. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a curious and interested specialist physician in general medicine who is interested in primary care and wants to develop our health center together with us. Your own research and research supervision are merits but not a formal requirement for the position. We see that you are, as mentioned before, genuinely interested in primary care, self-directed, take responsibility and want to contribute to good morale in the work group. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, our work is permeated by our core values: we create value for those we serve, act with decisiveness and strive to always be perceived as reliable. Selection and placement can take place continuously during the advertising period, so we would like to see you submit your application as soon as possible. We have an established procedure for recruitment and therefore politely but firmly decline contact from job ad sellers or other sellers of recruitment services.
