We want to offer you the opportunity to be part of developing primary care in this part of Stockholm. We currently have approximately 8,000 registered patients. We are a medium-sized health center and part of SLSO, Stockholm County Healthcare Organization. Barkarby Health Center is a very pleasant workplace with 25 permanent employees. Currently, we have five general medicine specialists, four ST physicians, and one AT physician, plus other highly experienced staff. The health center is a couple of minutes' walk from Barkarby commuter station. It takes about 15 minutes to Stockholm Central, but we also have free parking within walking distance. In addition to physician consultations, we offer the following clinics: district nurse, diabetes, hypertension, memory, asthma/COPD, and lifestyle counseling. The health center provides home care services, laboratory, social worker, and psychologist. We have short decision-making paths and close, informal dialogue in daily work. This strengthens patient safety with the patient in focus. We want to be at the forefront of new working methods and digitalization where it creates opportunities to continuously develop our patient care. As a general specialist, you have the opportunity to work from home one day per week with video meetings in Alltid öppet when operations permit. The work requires broad competence and independence. You supervise ST and AT physicians as well as medical students and support other professional categories in medical assessments. Qualifications: Specialist Physician in General Medicine with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Experience from Region Stockholm as a general specialist and knowledge of the TakeCare medical record system are merits. Employment Type: Permanent employment. Full-time 100% or part-time, for example 80%, can be discussed. Working hours Monday–Friday. Probation may apply. Start date December 1st or by agreement.
