Our Offer
Anopiva is the largest clinic in Region Östergötland and at Linköping University Hospital. The clinic is organized into three sections; the intensive care section, operations and the sterilization technology unit. Operations consists of 24 operating theaters plus anesthesia activities outside central operations. Operational activities are undergoing ongoing organizational changes to enable increased surgical capacity at Linköping University Hospital with robustness, planability and predictability, while strengthening care quality, patient safety and working environment.
We are just over 500 employees who want to develop care with the goal of conducting world-class anesthesia and surgical activities as well as intensive care for citizens of Östergötland and the Southeastern healthcare region, with patient safety and quality in focus. We are part of nationally highly specialized care in collaboration with some of the hospital's clinics. Research and teaching are part of our work, as is developing healthcare processes.
The intensive care section includes departments for intensive care (CIVA), postoperative care (Postop) and intermediate care (CIMA).

Job Description
With us you work with anesthesia, postoperative care, intermediate care and intensive care for both adult and pediatric patients. Anesthesia activities include complex upper and lower abdominal surgery, urological and gynecological surgery, orthopedics and spinal surgery, hand and plastic surgery, eye, jaw and ENT surgery as well as neurosurgery. We have a broad range of activities with anesthetics outside the operating room as well as a pediatric operating unit including a pediatric procedure unit. We are a European accredited center in regional anesthesia.
Within intensive care, we care for seriously ill patients in need of general and multidisciplinary intensive care as well as burn intensive care and neuro-intensive care. Our clinic has both regional assignments and within certain special areas national assignments. Evening and night on-call duties are part of the position. Education and research are essential parts of our activities.
About You
We are looking for you who are a specialist or senior physician in anesthesia and intensive care and who want to continue to develop yourself as well as drive our development in collaboration with the clinic's employees and our customer clinics.
You are confident, stable and have good self-insight and the ability to adapt your working methods according to circumstances. You have good ability to organize, structure and collaborate. You have good Swedish language skills in speech and writing. You communicate well and show good judgment towards patients, relatives and colleagues and have high medical competence. You drive medical work forward and can be a knowledge resource for others. Experience in research and teaching is meritorious.
Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
