About Us Welcome to Närhälsan Torpavallen Health Center, we are looking for you who are interested in working with us as a general medicine specialist! The health center is a pleasant, well-functioning and friendly workplace located in Örgryte/Härlanda, a quiet area in eastern Gothenburg. The workplace is characterized by an open atmosphere, patient focus, a development-oriented approach, and collaboration across professional boundaries. We have approximately 11,000 registered patients, of which a relatively large proportion are children and middle-aged individuals. Our mission also includes physician services at child health centers, nursing homes, disability residences, and home care services. You will work with clinic consultations and digital healthcare visits in primary care. We would appreciate your interest in working with mental health and/or nursing homes. At Närhälsan Torpavallen, we work in teams around our patients for the best continuity for our patients and for a good working environment. The role also includes supervision of resident physicians (ST- and AT-doctors) and medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities, for example through continuous professional development of ten days per year. About You You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in general medicine. You must have authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills in speech and writing at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required for this position. It is advantageous if you have experience working with mental health and/or in nursing homes. We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the organization's development work. In this role you meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good approach to people. You enjoy teamwork and it is self-evident to you to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
