About Us Masthugget gynecology and obstetrics clinic is centrally located in Gothenburg, in new central premises, and operates outpatient care that does not require hospital resources. Within Regionhälsan there are also midwife clinics, a specialist unit for pregnant patients with substance use, and an ultrasound clinic. The gynecology and obstetrics clinic shares premises with Agnes, a subacute clinic for pregnant and postpartum patients who can also be treated in outpatient care. The practice operates in close collaboration with obstetrics at Östra sjukhuset/Sahlgrenska University Hospital, which enables a cohesive care chain and operative collaboration between inpatient and outpatient care. At the clinic, we are a team of employees consisting of gynecologists, obstetricians, midwives, assistant nurses, and administrative staff. We also have a training center for ST doctors in both gynecology and general medicine. About the Work As a specialist physician with us, you'll have varied and stimulating work where you have the opportunity to work broadly within gynecology and obstetrics. You will work with investigation and treatment of gynecological diseases, provide contraceptive counseling, and maternal health care. The role includes work within specialist maternal care and our urgent care clinic for pregnant and postpartum patients (Agnes). Our gynecology clinic is organized in teams with different focus areas, for example endometriosis, dysplasia, and contraception. Here you'll have the opportunity to contribute with your expertise and be involved in developing the practice further. We offer regular rounds and doctor meetings where collegial exchange, learning, and improvement work are in focus. As a newly qualified specialist, you'll also receive an introductory and continuing education plan to help you feel confident in your role within outpatient gynecology. About You We're looking for you who are a licensed physician with a specialist certification in obstetrics and gynecology and who have a genuine interest in outpatient care. If you have particular interest in, for example, dysplasia, contraception, or maternal care, that's an advantage. It's meritorious if you have supervisor training, are a colposcopist, or have several years of experience after your specialist qualification, but we also welcome you who are a new specialist and want to continue developing in your professional role. As a person, you are flexible, committed, and have a professional approach. You enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams, contribute to a good work environment, and have excellent collaboration skills. Terms The position is placed at Masthugget gynecology clinic, with the possibility of combining the work with service at the obstetrics unit in the same premises. Work is conducted during daytime on weekdays without holidays. Selection takes place on an ongoing basis and interviews are planned to be conducted during weeks 33 and 34.
