Do you have experience programming and setting up CNC machines and want to take the next step toward production planning? As a Specialist Production Planner for Machine Machining, you will translate drawings into clear instructions for how details for new submarines should be manufactured. About the Role As a Specialist Production Planner for Machine Machining, you are the link between design and the workshop. Based on drawings and 3D documentation, you determine how details – from large to small and often in hard or stainless materials – should be machined, and you create work orders and production documentation with time estimates. You plan both completely new details and build on existing documentation. You support production when new details are to be manufactured and maintain ongoing dialogue with design, production engineering, and operators. Summary of Responsibilities: Develop and adapt work orders and production documentation for machine machining, including time estimates Interpret drawings and 3D documentation, primarily in Creo View Adapt details for production based on machine capabilities, machining methods, and tool selection Support production during startup and resolve practical machining questions Collaborate with design, production engineering, and operators to optimize manufacturing About You You are curious and enjoy finding out what you need to know on your own – whether it's about a drawing, documentation, or how a detail was previously manufactured. We are looking for someone with: At least 1–2 years of practical experience programming, setting up, and configuring CNC machines, primarily for milling Strong ability to read and interpret advanced drawings Understanding of machining methods, tool selection, and materials Good knowledge of Swedish and English Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance prior to employment, which may require certain citizenship Meritorious: Post-secondary education in machinery or production Experience with multi-axis and larger CNC machines Experience in production planning or production engineering Experience with Creo View or similar 3D tools Experience machining hard and stainless materials, such as duplex steel Experience from marine, workshop, or other complex manufacturing industries About the Company The client company is an established player in the defense industry. In Landskrona, they are building up operations for the new construction of submarines, where they work with production aids, design analysis, work order planning, and manufacturing documentation. The planning group is growing, and you will join at a stage where working methods and production are being shaped. Work is conducted cross-functionally, with close dialogue with engineers, procurement, design, and production.
