Coaching, Development, and Collaboration
As a specialist, you provide advice and support to case handlers and investigators regarding insurance interpretation and current handling processes. By coaching the case handlers and investigators, you contribute to them having the right competence to meet the needs of applicants and insured individuals. You actively contribute to creating a workplace learning environment and you identify collective competency needs and initiate possible development paths. As an employee at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you have a high level of security awareness since the authority comes into contact with confidential information. Your work includes contributing to the change and development of processes, and you play an important role in implementing regulatory and process changes. The assignment also includes supporting unit managers with quality follow-up in case handling and being a resource to the local management team on matters related to your specialist area. As a specialist, you are part of a team of specialists. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work for us, have a high level of security awareness.

has a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
has specialist competence and expert knowledge, or investigation knowledge within insurance coverage
has a coaching approach
can understand and analyze complex issues
act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
have good communication skills, both verbal and written
are confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals.
It is meritorious if you
have in-depth knowledge of social insurance, administrative law, and public access and confidentiality
have experience mentoring newly hired employees
have experience quality assuring cases within insurance coverage
have completed the shared insurance matters competency supply program within the specialist role
have experience implementing changes
have participated in planning and conducting workshops/presentations.

Other Information
3 positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. Trial employment may be applicable. Certain positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be employed in such a position, a passed security clearance under the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required.
In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. Opportunity for remote work exists if the work allows.
