As a specialist in Sickness Benefit Base Amount (SGI), you become part of a team that together provides advice and support on SGI matters. By coaching case handlers, you contribute to ensuring they have the right competence to meet established goals. You also support case handlers and managers with qualified insurance law questions, quality assure case handling, and contribute to consistent legal application.
Coaching, Development, and Collaboration
As a specialist, you provide advice and support to case handlers regarding insurance interpretation and current handling processes. By coaching case handlers, you help ensure they have the right competence to meet the needs of applicants and the insured. You actively contribute to creating a workplace learning environment and you identify collective competence needs and initiate possible development paths. As an employee at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you maintain high security awareness since the authority handles classified information. Your work includes contributing to process changes and development, and you play an important role in implementing regulatory and process changes. The role also includes supporting unit managers with quality monitoring of case handling and supporting the local management group on matters within your specialist area. As a specialist within SGI-East, you are part of a team of specialists.
This position involves handling classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you have high security awareness.

have a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be assessed as equivalent
have case handling knowledge within SGI
have a coaching approach
can understand and analyze complex matters
act on your own initiative and take responsibility for achieving good results
have good communication skills, both oral and written
are confident and trustworthy, even in difficult situations
collaborate effectively with others to achieve common goals.
It is advantageous if you
have experience with quality assurance of cases, preferably within SGI
have experience mentoring newly hired employees
have experience developing and conducting presentations and lectures
have completed the Common Insurance Issues Competency Supply Program with a specialist focus
have in-depth knowledge of social insurance, administrative law, and public access and confidentiality.

Other Information
One full-time position, available for hire by agreement. A trial employment period may be relevant. Certain positions at our agency involve participation in security-sensitive activities. To be hired for such a position, you must pass a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
