At our Grid Division, you are part of building and maintaining the backbone of the grid – a crucial part of Sweden's electrification. To succeed with our mission-critical assignment, we need to build 30 miles of transmission lines and commission 20 substations every year. Together, we create a stable and sustainable energy infrastructure for the future. About the position We are now looking for one or more risk and quality specialists who want to contribute to the development of Sweden's transmission network. Our facility projects include overhead lines, cables, and substations and are crucial for meeting future needs for safe and secure electricity supply. As a risk and quality specialist, you provide qualified support to programs and projects throughout their implementation. The role can focus on risk, quality, or a combination of both areas, depending on your competence and experience. You are an important collaboration partner to program and project managers and contribute to strengthening project governance, monitoring, and goal achievement. Within the risk area, you work with planning, leading, and documenting risk analyses and supporting programs and projects in identifying, managing, and following up on risks and measures. You also contribute to reporting, analysis of risk landscapes, and monitoring of trends to create good decision-making foundations. Within the quality area, you support programs and projects in planning, implementation, and monitoring of quality-related working methods and processes. You contribute to ensuring that governing requirements, procedures, and methods are applied in an efficient and appropriate manner and promote structured improvement work. Part of the role involves planning, leading, and participating in workshops where working methods are developed, implemented, and monitored. You also contribute to experience feedback and knowledge dissemination within the organization. The work tasks vary depending on the needs of the programs and projects, but may include: Planning, implementing, and documenting risk analyses according to Svenska kraftnät's governing documents. Supporting program and project managers in operational risk management and follow-up of measures. Compiling, analyzing, and monitoring risk landscapes, trends, and development areas. Contributing to governance and monitoring of quality work in programs and projects. Providing support and training in management systems, processes, and working methods. Introducing new employees to risk and quality-related working methods. Contributing to the development of program and project plans and establishment of risk and quality work. Developing structures and methods for monitoring from a risk and quality perspective. Participating in development and continuous improvements of working methods and processes. Supporting experience feedback and organizational learning. As a risk and quality specialist, you become part of the Program and Project Support unit, which consists of specialists in risk, quality, scheduling, and project economics. The unit belongs to the Facility Investments Department with the mandate to ensure structured and efficient implementation of our investment projects with focus on time, cost, and results.
