About the Position
Are you experienced in payroll, employment law, and collective agreements, and do you thrive in a role where you can combine operational work with strategic initiatives and process development? We are now seeking a Payroll Specialist for an exciting consulting assignment at a global organization. In this role, you will become a key person within the payroll area where you will work with complex compensation matters, collective agreements, drive improvement initiatives, and provide expert support to both internal stakeholders and external service providers.
This position suits you if you have solid experience in payroll and HR matters and want to take greater responsibility in an organization where you have the opportunity to influence processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute your expertise.
Assignment Duration: This is a full-time consulting position starting immediately, initially running for one year with excellent opportunities for extension.
Example of Work Tasks
Manage and ensure quality of payroll administration processes through an external payroll service provider
Serve as an expert within the payroll area and provide support to managers, employees, and internal stakeholders
Responsible for updating and maintaining payroll-related registers and personal data
Ensure compliance with legislation, collective agreements, policies, and internal guidelines
Drive and coordinate improvement initiatives, process development, and implementation of changes within the payroll area
Collaborate with external payroll service providers and ensure efficient delivery
Participate in projects related to, for example, organizational changes or changes in regulations
Coach and support colleagues in the area when needed
About You
We are looking for someone who is structured, self-driven, and able to quickly familiarize yourself with new work methods and processes. You are accustomed to taking personal responsibility and feel confident handling complex payroll and collective agreement matters. At the same time, you are an unpretentious team player who enjoys multiple contact points and close collaboration with both internal and external parties.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have good analytical abilities, a solution-oriented approach, and a strong focus on quality. You have the ability to switch between operational tasks and more strategic initiatives and are driven by developing and streamlining processes.
Qualifications
Several years of experience with qualified work in payroll administration/payroll
Solid knowledge of Swedish payroll management and employment law regulations
Experience working with payroll process outsourcing and external payroll service providers
Good system skills and experience working with HR and payroll systems
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious
Experience from larger international organizations
Experience working within Mobility or Tax-related processes
Knowledge of managing multiple legal entities and different collective agreements
