We are prepared to do what is required, even in the most difficult of times. 2. Cyber Defense Regiment (2. CFF) is now seeking a senior incident response specialist. If you have an analytical mindset and have worked for several years handling incidents in both public and isolated environments, this position is for you. Primary Responsibilities Within Cyber Defense, we always want to be at the forefront of innovation and through our actions contribute to a safer Sweden. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive and develop cyber defense's capability to conduct incident management. In the role, you will also contribute to developing technical solutions to meet cyber defense's unique needs, which may include methodology, technology, and tool development. The tasks we face as a team must be solvable both in peace and in war, which is why physical training is a natural part of the work duties (the employer provides 3 hours per week for physical training). As a senior incident handler, your role includes working with: Developing methods for incident management in both public and isolated environments. Implementing, administering, and improving incident management methods. Mentoring and guiding junior staff members. Qualifications Higher education in IT or equivalent knowledge as deemed relevant by the employer. Documented work experience within a relevant field of at least 5 years. Class B driver's license. Merits Completed military basic training Experience working with IT infrastructure, both public and isolated environments. Experience working in incident response. Knowledge and experience with CTI and detections. Well versed in MITRE ATT&CK Skills within: Network traffic Malware analysis (primarily triage) Personal Qualities We see that you as an applicant have a high security awareness. Headquarters has approximately 1,000 employees – both professional officers and civilian experts. As of 2023-01-01, Headquarters consists of the defense staff, operational command, military intelligence and security service, and Headquarters' staff division and independent supervisory units. Employment with us means placement in a security classification. Swedish citizenship is usually required. A security clearance with record check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. With employment comes an obligation to be placed on war mobilization.
