Job Description As a specialist in procurement at the IT Department, you will have an important role in driving and supporting the authority's journey toward a more digital prison and probation service. As a specialist, you are responsible for operational contract management and purchasing, and you support the organization in special orders and direct procurement. You actively contribute to improvements in procurement and IT asset management, and coach and/or lead the work of developing content and structure for both procurement and call-offs. You will actively collaborate with the procurement unit on contract matters. You are a link between the organization and suppliers and work according to a collaboration model, with the aim of developing cooperation and ensuring that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service achieves its goals for quality, cost, and lead times. The work involves many different contact points, which means you will collaborate with both procurement officers, administration/project managers, managers, and others. Qualifications For the role of procurement specialist, we are looking for someone who is calm and attentive and works well with others. We are looking for someone who has: Post-secondary education in procurement or economics, or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant Experience in the procurement field Experience with Asset Management Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU) Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish It is also a merit to have: Certification of ongoing education in relevant areas of knowledge Certified Software Asset Manager Experience with public procurement under the Public Procurement Act (LOU) Experience working with supplier follow-up Experience with SUA – Security-Protected Procurement Basic knowledge and understanding of IT/digitalization.
