DUTIES Working as a district physician with us in rural areas means varied and exciting days assessing, investigating, and treating patients with various complaints and conditions. You will also work with seriously ill and acute patients, given the distance to the hospital. You work with health promotion activities, group activities, and collaborate with other professionals at the health center. You will work using evidence-based methods individually, in group activities, and via the internet. As part of the transition to close-to-home care, you will in your profession have responsibility for the municipality's home care and residential care for the elderly. This work includes making home visits together with a nurse or district nurse. We actively work to develop our treatment services, promote healthy lifestyles, and prevent long-term sick leave while promoting quick return to work. In Svenstavik, we work with the distribution of patient lists/physicians according to the National Board of Health and Welfare guidelines. We work in teams with PAL/PAS responsibility with team rounds every week. In Svenstavik, we are close to each other and are collegial, helping and supporting one another. We collaborate closely across professions. We have training positions for physicians and accept students in all professional categories. We are flexible and work toward more digital working methods and remote care. Each employee has influence over their own schedules. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish licensure and strong Swedish language skills (C1 level) in both speaking and writing. You enjoy working in a team with other professionals close to patients and want to contribute to the development of the operation. As a person, we see that you are positive, humble, and prefer to work solution-oriented. Additionally, we would appreciate that you have a structured and flexible working style. You should have good initiative, an open mindset, and be open to changes in the operational area. The role requires independent work, good patient interactions, strong collaboration skills, and professional responsibility. Personal research and research supervision are meriting but not a formal requirement for the position. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date according to agreement. Two positions (100% & 75%) are being announced.
