Would you like to work where you have time to see the person – not just the patient?
At Lagan, you get the best of two worlds: a safe and family-like health center with 3,400 registered patients – and the opportunity to develop in a modern and forward-thinking organization.
We are now seeking a specialist in general medicine who wants to help create genuine community-based care in our beautiful rural setting.
Our team consists of doctors, district and registered nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, psychosocial resource/psychotherapist, rehabilitation coordinator, occupational therapist and physiotherapist, as well as training doctors (AT and ST). Together we create a safe and developing work environment where we support each other in our daily work.
We are proud of our workplace where joy in work, collaboration and development form the basis of a safe, fun and rewarding workplace. Lagan Health Center is part of Primary Care West and has close collaboration with several other health centers in the area.
As an employee at Region Kronoberg, you become part of something larger – we are 6,500 colleagues who work every day for people's health and quality of life. With us there are good opportunities to influence your work day, grow in your role and contribute to the care of the future.

WORK TASKS
With us you get the opportunity to work broadly and varied and to truly follow your patients with continuity over time.
You are responsible for examining, assessing, investigating and treating patients of all ages. The work also includes rounds within home care and special housing, which are located in the same building as the health center. You actively participate in teamwork and contribute to holistic care together with other professionals.
We also have a family center where our child health clinic is located, which provides the opportunity to work with child health care in stimulating collaboration with the municipality.
Since we are a health center that actively works with training new doctor colleagues, we would like you to be willing to supervise AT and ST doctors and medical students – a rewarding assignment where you can share your knowledge and experience. We also offer supervisor training!
Here you also get to influence the development of the operation and contribute to new ways of working and improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
