Cityhälsan Centrum Health Center is centrally located in the old hospital area in Norrköping. The health center is operated by Region Östergötland, has approximately 14,100 registered residents in a mixed population, and nearly 60 permanent employees, meaning we have broad staffing across different professions.
We work in interprofessional teams. We have 4 larger teams at the health center, and since early spring, also smaller teams where each physician has their own nurse. We prioritize continuity and making use of each other's competencies.
We are an Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) health center where physicians collaborate with psychologists, rehabilitation coordinators, and nurses, which brings significant benefits for patients and staff. The goal is to work together across the entire health center to increase many patients' functional levels and quality of life, as well as increase patients' ability to manage their concerns and avoid medicalization.
For several years, we have been an academic health center with growing engagement in research across several professions. If you are interested in research, this could be the health center for you! We value expertise and prioritize a good educational environment for colleagues in training. We have an elderly care clinic and are also an LGBTQI+-certified health center.

Job Description
You will have your own clinic, mentor colleagues, conduct child health visits, and other duties typically included in the role of general practitioner at a health center. In base assignments, there is often an opportunity to develop a profile based on your interests and strengths. There is also time in the schedule called "own booking" where you yourself make decisions about whether you need time for patient appointments or administration, giving you influence over your time. We have monthly scheduling and registration in Master occurs as you have contact with patients. Registration also takes into account care intensity.
Provider-initiated video visits during daytime may be possible if you and the patient see a benefit. We work with flexible hours. On-call duty is part of the assignment. Cosmic is our working tool. You will of course receive an introduction so you have the best conditions for your assignment.
We currently have nine general practitioners, one retired physician who continues to work with us, and one professor of internal medicine. We have several AT physicians, seven ST physicians, and one licensed physician.

About You
You are a specialist in general medicine. Previous work experience in primary care in Östergötland is meritorious. You speak Swedish fluently and have at least level C1.
You are attentive, unpretentious, and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and other professional categories. You value patient encounters and see the bigger picture. You work responsibly with good quality and see the advantage of continuity and patient-centered care. You can also plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
