The nearest hospital is in Lycksele, where the region's ambulance helicopter is stationed. Our clinics function as well-equipped mini-hospitals with access to acute care beds, X-ray, ambulance services, and laboratories. Our telemedicine use is well-developed. RESPONSIBILITIES As a general practice specialist with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that help people feel secure. The units are popular among training doctors, and supervision is an important task. In your role as a general practice specialist, you follow your patients throughout their lives. You meet people of all ages with all types of health-related problems and conduct independent assessments and treatment. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed physician with a specialist certificate in general practice and with experience in or interest in primary care. Experience in rural medicine and interest in supervision and supervisor training are considered advantageous.
