VC Laröd is a stable, well-functioning and expanding unit with just over 7,000 registered patients and just over 280 registered children at the associated child health center (BVC). We operate a branch in Mariastaden where we offer both acute and scheduled appointments with doctors and nurses, as well as consultations with dietitians, physiotherapists, psychologists, and BVC.

We have approximately 30 committed employees from various professions working in interprofessional teams to provide the best possible care to our patients. The team consists of specialist physicians, trainee physicians, district nurses, nurses with specialist competence, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapist, dietitian, and secretaries. We offer BVC, physician consultations, district nurse consultations, specialist nurse consultations for allergy-asthma-COPD, diabetes, hypertension, infections, lifestyle habits, vaccinations, memory consultations, and elderly care consultations. Consultations with occupational therapist, dietitian, physiotherapist, and psychologist are also part of our services.
We are also proud to be an academic health center (AVC), which means we have research assignments from the Center for Primary Care Research (CPF), building bridges between the academic world and primary care. We participate in several research studies in areas such as lifestyle habits, mental health/illness, and hypertension. Since we have two docents working at the health center, there are good opportunities for you if you want to conduct research combined with your specialist physician position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We offer you an exciting and varied job where you get the chance to develop in your profession.
Your responsibilities cover the entire general medicine field with planned and acute visits, home visits, SÄBO, and BVC. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to supervise ST physicians, AT physicians, and medical students. We also offer you the possibility of additional areas of responsibility based on your interests and the needs of the operation.
The position is divided into two to three days per week at the Mariastaden Branch and at VC Laröd respectively. Part-time employment is possible.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a specialist physician in general medicine with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency of at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is required. You who are applying have extensive experience in Swedish healthcare. Supervisor training and previous experience working in PMO and/or Melior are merits.
As a person, you are positive, flexible, and have good interpersonal skills. Since we are a full-service health center that wants to think new and creatively in increasing competition, we welcome you if you are motivated by this and enjoy working in a smaller unit. Furthermore, you are driven and take initiative for new ideas and working methods in the operation. You are confident in your profession and share your knowledge generously and unpretentiously. Moreover, you value working in a team but also appreciate independent work. Your work is characterized by having good prioritization skills and the ability to set boundaries when needed.
