REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS: Professional qualification and continuing education as specified in the Cabinet of Ministers regulations; State language at the highest level; Ability to plan, organize, and perform work with high quality; Sense of responsibility, discipline, precision; Ability to build professional collaboration with institution staff, students, their parents, and staff from other institutions; Ability to work with office equipment and IT tools; MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide professional support to the Institution's students, educators, and Support Team in cases where a student demonstrates: delayed development, behavior inconsistent with the child's age; uneven and poor academic performance, loss of interest in learning, reluctance to attend school; poor reading and writing skills; weak mathematical skills; marked inability to control behavior, prolonged emotional problems, tendency toward social isolation, low self-esteem; marked forgetfulness, marked prolonged negligence; inability to adapt to various situations; weak ability to organize and plan activities; signs of physical, mental, or psychological developmental disorders, etc. Help find accommodations so the student can better acquire necessary knowledge and skills; Help the student better understand themselves and improve social interaction skills; Help the student participate in play-based activities and integrate into the Institution's daily life; Predict the effectiveness of planned special education activities, approaches, methods, and techniques; Participate in in-depth assessment of students, involving other specialists when necessary; Evaluate the student's developmental disorders, determine assessment objectives, select appropriate assessment methodologies, prepare an assessment plan, and submit it to the Institution's director. Regularly maintain records in the special educator's logbook and in the school management system e-klase in accordance with the Institution's requirements; Submit a report to the Institution's director regarding work performed and results. Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, and other Institution staff in carrying out duties; Participate in educational institution pedagogical council meetings, Support Team meetings, and when necessary, in methodological associations and parent meetings; Participate in developing Individual Plans for students and providing support; In collaboration with Institution educators and Support Team, analyze student learning, psychological and adaptation problems, and determine teaching methods for addressing them; Collaborate with student parents to understand student behavior and problems, inform parents about student difficulties in the education institution, and jointly seek ways to resolve them; WORK LOCATION: Rubeņu iela 2A, Salaspils, "Seventh Kindergarten" DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED BY APPLICANT: Cover letter.
