About the position As a Production Manager / Technical Sales Representative in steel and welding at Almeca, you will play a central role in developing and driving the company's business within steel construction and welding. You will combine customer contact and sales with technical problem-solving, estimation, and production planning. Through customer visits, you will develop existing customer relationships and create new business opportunities. You are also responsible for planning and coordinating production and ensuring that projects are completed according to customer requirements, applicable quality standards, and company objectives. The role is ideal for you if you thrive with a holistic perspective – from the first customer contact and quote request, through estimation and planning, to execution and delivery. You will have the opportunity to influence both the business, production, and the ongoing development of operations. About you To thrive and succeed as a Production Manager / Technical Sales Representative, you are quality-conscious, solution-oriented, and accustomed to working toward clear timelines and customer requirements. You enjoy taking responsibility, both for the business and for ensuring that production operations run efficiently. You are motivated by combining technology and business and appreciate close customer contact. You have an understanding of economics and profitability and find it stimulating to calculate projects, prepare quotes, and find solutions that meet both customer needs and Almeca's quality and profitability requirements. The role also includes personnel responsibility for six employees. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy leading and delegating work, creating structure, and contributing to good teamwork. We are looking for someone who has: · at least upper secondary education supplemented with several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, welding, or equivalent, or alternatively a post-secondary technical education · experience with various welding methods, for example MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA · experience and knowledge in IWS/IWT, EN 1090, and ISO 3834 · experience in blueprint reading, estimation, and quotation work · experience in production planning and work supervision · good technical understanding and ability to translate customer needs into feasible solutions It is an advantage if you have experience in technical sales or similar customer-facing roles within steel, welding, mechanical engineering, or industry. About the employment Almeca offers you a permanent position in a smaller, family-oriented, and quality-driven specialist company with strong expertise in steel and welding. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period and is offered with competitive employment terms. Starting salary range 42,000 – 45,000 SEK depending on experience and competence.
