Your Tasks As a sous chef, you have a key role in the kitchen's daily operations and function as an important link between the head chef and the rest of the kitchen staff. You are responsible for planning, leading and distributing work during both preparations and service to ensure that our quality standards are maintained. Your responsibilities include handling orders, deliveries and inventories as well as supporting the head chef in work structure and operations. To succeed in the sous chef role, you should have experience from à la carte and/or buffet operations. You will work closely with the head chef and serve as a support and sounding board, especially regarding inventory, orders and deliveries. Working hours can vary and include both day and evening shifts as well as weekends. You are efficient and organized, quick and solution-oriented with a passion for the profession. Stress resilience is something you have already mastered and you have the ability to juggle many things at once. A good work attitude, where you are passionate about your task and dare to take initiative, is a given and you value good communication in the kitchen and also between kitchen and service. If you describe yourself as a quick learner and have an eye for detail, you have an advantage with us. That you are cheerful, positive and service-oriented is a given for us. At Branäs we believe that happy employees lead to happy guests. Requirements Experience as a chef within à la carte and/or buffet operations. You should be comfortable with English and/or Swedish language. Meritorious Driver's license and access to a car. Application This is a seasonal employment from December to April and the position is covered by HRF's collective agreement. Branäs cooperates with Ljung & Sjöberg to prevent alcohol, drug and gambling problems and is a certified Proactive workplace against this.
