As Sous Chef, you play a key role in leading the kitchen's operations, together with the Head Chef, in an optimal and sustainable manner, with a focus on economics, personnel, ingredients, and work methods. You are also responsible for ensuring that all food served to our guests is of high quality and that the entire kitchen staff contributes to maintaining this standard. Your responsibilities will include: Plan and lead the kitchen's operations for maximum efficiency and quality, in consultation with the Head Chef Responsible for ongoing inventory and ordering of supplies for the kitchen, in consultation with the Head Chef Create and maintain a positive team atmosphere in the kitchen through evaluation, quality assurance, training, and coaching, in consultation with the Head Chef Responsible for food safety follow-up and maintaining contact with suppliers, in consultation with the Head Chef Desired Experience and Qualities: Trained chef with experience as a Sous Chef in an à la carte restaurant. Strong interest in cooking and strive for positive results.
