As a nurse at SOS Alarm, you primarily work with telephone assessments and triage. You assess patients of all ages who have called 112 due to illness or injury with varying care needs. By phone, you assess the need for ambulance services and provide acute medical advice and care recommendations. Some of the calls involve guiding patients to the right level of care, which requires you as a nurse to work safely and efficiently. In your work, you collaborate with both internal and external partners, such as ambulance services and home care services. You will receive comprehensive introductory training where you alternate between e-courses and hands-on training with mentors at our central office, as well as training days at our training facility in Kista. As an SOS Emergency Nurse, you work a shift schedule with opportunities to influence your own schedule. We are looking for you who have: Swedish nursing license At least three years of professional work experience in the field Good computer skills Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written We see it as an advantage if you have experience with telephone assessments, relevant specialist nursing education, or additional language skills beyond Swedish and English.
