We are looking for a product assortment and contract manager for the assistive devices business area (VO) in Malmö! Take the opportunity to become part of a dedicated team driven by development, improvement, and helping patients find the right assistive devices. The assistive devices operations constitute a business area (VO) within the Psychiatry, Rehabilitation and Assistive Devices department, responsible for all assistive device areas financed by Region Skåne. This includes assistive devices for people with mobility, vision, hearing, communication, and cognitive impairments, medical treatment aids, orthopedic technical devices, and pharmaceutical-related products. The assortment unit is part of the order/logistics area and is responsible for order and material flow throughout the operations. This also includes the Customer Service, Operations Support, and Logistics units. The assortment unit holds responsibility for assortment and contract management across different assistive device areas and for assistive device guidelines. We lead procurement work and monitor contracts, assortments, and guidelines to ensure that Region Skåne's patients receive the right products. We currently have nine product assortment and contract managers. Your nearest colleagues all have healthcare education as their foundation and may represent different professional categories such as nurse, occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, dietitian, physiotherapist, and audiologist, creating a dynamic group. Expertise is shared across professions to strengthen delivery reliability for patients. The unit actively works with transparency to promote employee participation. 1 position(s). TASKS We are now seeking a new colleague for a parental leave cover position of approximately one year. As a product assortment and contract manager, you are responsible for both strategic and operational work within your assortment area, which in this position covers medical treatment devices for respiratory care. You are the link between the assistive devices operations, healthcare, and the supplier market. This means you are responsible for coordinating procurement work, implementing the contract, and continuous contract monitoring in close collaboration with the procurement department. You also actively contribute to operations development and work with improvements related to the prescribed assortment provided to Region Skåne's patients. You are responsible for ongoing assortment work, which includes further developing the assortment, collaborating with prescribers, and preparing documentation for financial monitoring. Additionally, you conduct environmental monitoring, ensure proper data maintenance, and manage supplier contacts. The work is conducted in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The operations are based on LEAN philosophy and have created a structure where all employees participate in local pulse and improvement meetings. In these meetings, deviations and improvements are addressed based on established processes. The perspective is customer-centric, where the customer is primarily the prescriber and the end customer is the patients. There is an opportunity for remote work up to two days per week when operations permit. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse or physiotherapist, biomedical engineer, or have other education that the employer deems relevant for the position. You have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, and as the work is performed administratively, good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, particularly Excel, is necessary. It is a merit to have clinical experience, experience working with medical technical equipment/respiratory aids, and good knowledge of MDR and regulations applicable to the current product area. If you additionally have experience with procurement, purchasing, and contracts in public sector operations as well as supplier contacts, this is positive.
