At the X-ray Clinic in Jönköping, we are now offering, for the first time, a specialization in mammography, with the opportunity for a combined role in thyroid diagnostics. Here you'll work in a dedicated team using modern methods and in close collaboration with other specialists. We warmly welcome your application! Your Role as a Sonographer As a sonographer with us, you'll have a unique role focused on mammography diagnostics. Among other things, you will: • Perform ultrasound examinations for diagnostic purposes and provide preliminary signed reports. • Participate in biopsies, aspirations, and similar minor interventions. • Work closely with breast surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists in a well-functioning breast care pathway. • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to ensure the best possible care for patients. There is also a need for sonographers for thyroid evaluations across the region. Your onboarding will be tailored to your previous experience and conducted in close collaboration with our experienced specialists. Your Future Workplace Radiology is a county-wide, around-the-clock clinic with approximately 380 employees located at three hospitals in the county: Länssjukhuset Ryhov in Jönköping, Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö, and Värnamo Hospital. Radiology operates modern, high-tech diagnostics and offers a comprehensive and advanced range of examinations. We perform vascular interventions, skeletal and chest X-rays, CT scans, mammography, ultrasound, PET-CT, and MRI. Radiology is a development-focused clinic certified according to ISO 9001:2015, where we continuously monitor, improve, and renew our work. We have county-wide procedures, regular continuing education, and collegial support—here you'll find both breadth and specialization. The mammography department performs approximately 17,000 clinical examinations and 36,000 health screenings annually. Clinical services are located in Jönköping, while screening takes place in Jönköping, in the mammography mobile unit on Höglandet, and at the X-ray clinic in Värnamo. We are about 30 employees. We have newly built, well-designed facilities that are bright, modern, and equipped for tomorrow's diagnostics. We use Sectra RIS/PACS.
