We are seeking a passionate sommelier for Restaurant Krut Krut is a wine bar, cocktail bar, and restaurant in the heart of central Uppsala, near Stora Torget. At Krut, we strive to make every guest feel appreciated. We have a strong interest in food and beverage culture, and therefore everyone on our team works together to select wines, taste drinks, and determine our food menu to ensure the highest quality and reflect both the craftsmanship and ambition behind our guests' experience. About the Role For this position, we are looking for someone with a natural passion for wine and beverages – for you, it's a lifestyle rather than just a job. If you are also a trained sommelier, we see that as a major plus! At Krut, the pace changes quickly. Therefore, you need to be comfortable working independently and making your own decisions, while also loving to collaborate with the team to give our guests the best experience. Since we're busiest when others are off, the work is scheduled for evenings and weekends. Your Responsibilities Select and procure wines and other beverages. Write and update the wine list. Choose beverages that pair with guests' meals. Train and assist colleagues on the floor. Basic food prep and plating. We Are Looking for Someone With Training as a sommelier (desirable, not required) A few years of restaurant experience. Good knowledge of the wine and beverage world.
