About the Role
Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those living with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.
As a nursing assistant/care worker, you play a key role in a team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists who work closely together.
About Myran
Myran is a small unit with 22 places distributed across three floors. With us, you will find a small work team at night where it is easy to come in and become part of the group. When you work nights with us, you work both active nights and on-call nights. Working on-call means active work on the unit between 17-22, followed by sleeping on-call between 22-06 in the staff room. Then you work on the unit between 6-7 before you finish. Active night shifts are between 21-07. You must be a trained nursing assistant to work night shifts.
Needs-based scheduling: We use needs-based scheduling. This means that as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours, based on needs and preferences. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.
Group managers: You have a manager close to you who shares part of their time working in the unit. This could also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.
Animals in care: We work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals.
Your Experience and Knowledge
We guess that you who apply to us:
- are drawn to work that is varied and requires extensive knowledge of care and service, but also a talent for meeting people in different situations.
- are a creative person who dares to think independently and take responsibility.
- enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues.
We would like to see that you are a trained nursing assistant/care worker or have equivalent experience working in elderly care.
