You see every individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those who live with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging. As a nursing assistant/care worker, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist who work closely together. About Villa Hertig Knut Villa Hertig Knut elderly care home is right for you if you appreciate and want to experience Halland culture. This is the home's profile, which is evident in both activities and interiors. The color scheme indoors, furnishings, and decorations have been inspired by the Halmstad Group. Cozy Atmosphere Halland culture is at the center of Villa Hertig Knut, for example regarding activities, furnishings, and food. On each floor there is a photo wallpaper by an artist from the Halmstad Group. The units are colored, furnished, and decorated based on these photo wallpapers. The pleasant atmosphere is felt immediately when you enter the entrance where you are met by beautiful colors and a comfortable seating area. Directly to the left is the central gathering place for our residents, relatives, and staff. There is a large and beautiful photo wallpaper by Erik Olsson. Dementia Certification: We are a dementia-certified home, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia care and communication through the Dementia Academy. Needs-Based Flexible Scheduling: We apply needs-based flexible scheduling. This means that as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours, based on needs and preferences. We schedule 10 weeks at a time. Ung Omsorg: We have a partnership with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 years visit us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities together with us to enrich the lives of our residents. Group Managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operation. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. Animals in Care: Here we work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals. Your Experience and Knowledge We believe that you who apply to us: - are attracted to work that is varied and requires great knowledge of care and elderly care, but also a talent for meeting people in different situations. - are a creative person who dares to think for yourself and take responsibility. - enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues. We would like you to be a trained nursing assistant/care worker or have equivalent experience working in elderly care. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise your CV is not the most important thing.
