You have an easy time following instructions and learning new work tasks. As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time; your workplace is where the customer is located. Your work tasks generally involve assisting the customer so that they have the conditions to live the life they wish. Work tasks: Your work tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. Some common work tasks include: - Personal assistance - Personal hygiene - Assistance with mobility - Housework - Cooking - Assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home. During the summer, the work is often more varied with outings such as swimming, concerts, or other events. Prerequisites: Prior experience is advantageous but not required. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction with the customer and have access to training in the role of personal assistant. About the employment: Employment type for substitutes – employment per hour worked. Wage form – hourly wage Working hours vary for the different positions. Depending on the position, working hours can occur during day, evening, and night shifts, on weekdays and weekends. A driver's license is not required.
