As a Solution Design Engineer, you'll work from our main office in Solna, with the opportunity to regularly work on-site in Brunna and Eskilstuna with some of our largest customers. You, us, and the job In your role as Solution Design Engineer, you drive the development and transformation of customer projects with a focus on efficiency, quality, customer requirements, and business viability. The role primarily serves our operations in Brunna and Eskilstuna and our main office in Solna. You will always consider the big picture of the assignment and ensure that transformation work is conducted in a way that creates value throughout the entire logistics chain, from import to delivery at the customer. As a Solution Design Engineer, you're also involved in analyzing and calculating new customer arrangements and bids, which demands a strong ability to understand the customer's business and circumstances. What you will do Be a specialist in warehouse automation, technical logistics solutions, and WMS development, and continuously evaluate new technologies, automation concepts, and solution designs for both existing and new customer projects. Act as project manager and implementation support to the regions when launching projects and operational improvements. Participate in developing future warehouse solutions, including automation, materials handling, layout, capacity calculations, and technical concepts for new and existing customers. Conduct analysis of production processes and improvement opportunities with the ambition to exceed established quality and productivity targets. Work with various simulation and analysis tools to develop solutions and improvements for customer projects. Prepare materials for new business opportunities in collaboration with business development. Grounded: You have your feet firmly on the ground and always convey a sense of calm to those you work with. What you bring with you Experience in project management, such as customer implementations. Several years of experience in development work within warehousing and/or 3PL. Several years of experience designing warehouse solutions, automation concepts, or material flows. Experience analyzing warehouse and production data. Experience with WMS, warehouse automation, and technical logistics solutions. High proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with CAD. Civil engineer with a focus on logistics or equivalent academic education. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
