Modemani Designer Outlet AB is seeking an IT Operations Technician to join our team in Bankeryd. If you enjoy ensuring systems run smoothly, solving problems before they cause outages, and being the person your colleagues can rely on when something absolutely must work, this role could be for you. About the Role As our IT Operations Technician, you will take responsibility for the daily operations and stability of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with colleagues across the organization to ensure our systems, hardware, and applications are reliable, secure, and ready to support daily operations – both on-site and remotely. Your Responsibilities Your primary areas of responsibility will include: Monitoring and maintaining servers, networks, systems, and applications to ensure high availability and stable operations. Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues and outages. Installing and configuring hardware, software, and systems, and testing that everything functions as intended. Providing technical support to users and helping resolve day-to-day IT issues. Performing preventive maintenance and suggesting improvements to reduce the risk of future downtime. Coordinating work with external vendors or service providers when maintenance or support is outsourced. Documenting systems, processes, and recurring issues to build a shared technical knowledge base. Supporting the rollout of updates, upgrades, and new equipment across the organization. What We're Looking For A background in engineering, any specialization, or equivalent technical education, combined with a genuine interest in IT systems and infrastructure. A structured and analytical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to stay calm and work methodically when systems go down. A good understanding of technical systems in general and a willingness to develop deeper IT-specific knowledge on the job. Excellent communication skills, as you will sometimes work with an international team. Very strong English proficiency. Swedish language skills are a merit but not a requirement. A practical and solution-oriented work approach and experience documenting and following up on issues until they are resolved.
