Alma Assistans is a dedicated company that works in collaboration with clients to create personalized assistance. We work closely with our clients and understand that strong relationships are the key to well-functioning assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our head office in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö. We are looking for a Personal Assistant to work as a substitute caregiver for a friendly woman living in Bälinge, approximately 10 km outside Uppsala, who needs help during sick leave or vacation. There is an opportunity to work with several of our clients to increase your hours. Shifts are scheduled between 08:00-15:45 or 14:15-22:00, on weekdays and weekends. Buses run regularly from Uppsala C and stop right outside the woman's home. The woman has MS and uses a wheelchair and needs help with transfers, hygiene, etc. Experience with ceiling lifts and slings is welcome. The woman is friendly and enjoys conversation and likes to do fun activities such as shopping and having coffee, etc. In addition to this, there are typical household tasks such as cleaning and preparing light meals. You who are applying should fit the following description: - Can write and communicate fluently in Swedish. - Are a calm and trustworthy person with self-motivation. - Can see and take responsibility for what needs to be done. - Have a great ability to understand someone else's situation and perspective. It is a merit if you have experience working in healthcare, but it is not required. The client is only looking at female applicants as personal hygiene is part of the job tasks.
